It was great to see so many neighbors at the annual picnic. Because of the rain, the picnic was postponed to Sunday September 13. What a beautiful afternoon! Thanks to all of the board members that helped to make the picnic a great success.

If your district director has not collected your dues, please mail the $10 dues to: Orchard Hills Community Association, P.O. Box 104, Lutherville, Md., 21094. Dues collection for this year is coming to an end.

Please share your news (births graduations, weddings etc.) with your district director and we will place the info in our next newsletter.

I look forward to seeing more neighbors at the upcoming fall and winter activities. Be sure to watch for flyer's announcing dates and times for these activities.

COMMUNITY CLEANUP DAY

On October 3, 2009 we will have dumpsters in the neighborhood provided by Baltimore County for community residents’ use. See the flyer for more information.

Area Events

Do you know of any "snow birds" who leave their house vacant in the winter and would like to have a dependable older couple to house sit? A South Dakota couple comes south to the Baltimore area to be near their son and his four kids. Before they moved from here to SD, this couple was active at my church for many years. I am sure that they could provide references from those various people whom they have house sat for the past 10 or so years. Thanks.
